Stade de Reims have confirmed the departure of Mamadou Diakhon (19), who has completed a permanent move to Belgian Pro League side Club Brugge.
Diakhon joined Reims in 2021, aged 16, beginning his journey in Reims’ youth academy with the U17s. His development through the academy was rapid, earning him a spot in the club’s Pro 2 squad for the 2022/23 season, where he made 25 National 2 appearances.
A France youth international, Diakhon has represented Les Bleus at U18, U19, and U20 level. His first-team debut arrived on 27 May 2023, against Lyon, and from then on he established himself in Will Still’s squad.
