Lucas Beraldo (21) has denied recent reports that he is looking to leave Paris Saint-Germain, perhaps as early as January.
The Brazilian, since arriving from Sao Paulo back in January 2024, has failed to carve out a place in the starting XI. Instead, it is Willian Pacho who has featured prominently alongside club captain Marquinhos.
Whilst Beraldo has played six times in Ligue 1 this season, he has yet to play a single match of UEFA Champions League football for PSG this season.
Naturally, Beraldo, who is now a regular for Brazil at international level, wants more regular first-team football, and speaking earlier this week, Luis Enrique seemed to call for patience from the defender.
On Instagram, Beraldo has now reacted to reports that he is looking to leave Les Parisiens in search of that game time. He called the reports “fake news”, adding that he is “very happy at PSG”. He said that his focus remains on “giving the best version of [himself]” and reaching the club’s collective objectives.
