Inter have some leftover money from the summer and could use it in January to accelerate their plan to get younger in the back. Stefan De Vrij, Francesco Acerbi, and Matteo Darmian are likely in their final year at the club, La Gazzetta dello Sport informs.

Instead, the options from Serie A are Lazio’s Mario Gila, Udinese’s Oumar Solet, and Sassuolo’s Tarik Muharemovic. Moreover, they have been keeping tabs on Club Brugge’s Joel Ordonez. However, he just re-upped with his side and has a €30M price tag.
They are technically one man short since Tiago Palacios isn’t really part of the rotation. If they intend to rejuvenate their corps, Bisseck should be the last one to go. While he’s up and down, they can wait for him to develop, and gone are the days when they needed ‘plusvalenze’ to build their budget. They’ll probably pounce only if they find a proper bargain, and the rumored options all figure to be quite expensive.
