AS Monaco have signed Belgian international centre-back Wout Faes (27) on loan from EFL Championship side Leicester City FC, both clubs have announced. The 27-year-old defender will spend the remainder of the 2025-2026 campaign with Les Monégasques. Faes featured 16 times for the Foxes in all competitions during the first half of the current campaign. He remains tied with Leicester City over a contract set to expire in 2027.

AS Monaco have included an option to make Faes’ move permanent. The Belgian international centre-back is back in Ligue 1 following his breakthrough seasons with Stade de Reims. His performances with the Champagne side earned him a move to then-Premier League club in 2022. He will wear the No. 25 jersey for AS Monaco.
