Ben Broggio set to complete loan move to Falkirk

Aston Villa’s young winger Ben Broggio is all set to join Scottish side Falkirk on loan for the remainder of the season to aid his development.

According to The Athletic, Falkirk are on the verge of landing 19-year-old Aston Villa attacking sensation Ben Broggio. The winger is thought of highly over at Villa Park, as he is seen as a bit option for the future, but for now, he must find rhythm in his game once he moves to Scotland.

Ben Broggio could be viewed as one of the big prospects for the future at Aston Villa, with the winger already showing big promise with his performances for the youth sides. The club feel it is time for the attacker to take a big step in his career to play senior football.

Scottish side Falkirk have been persistent with their interest in the 19-year-old Aston Villa attacking sensation, as they are now closing in on a loan move for Broggio. The youngster is about to take his medical tests with the Premiership side, as the two clubs could soon finalise a move for the young winger.

It is a good move for Broggio, given that Falkirk are sitting sixth in the Scottish Premiership, and could help him provide a competitive environment. It remains to be seen whether the two parties can complete the move in due time, but there is a likelihood that this will get done.

Ben Broggio’s Aston Villa future in doubt?

It is the exact opposite of the question, as Unai Emery and his coaching staff have rated Broggio rather highly in their books. The player has also been able to train with the first team squad on multiple occasions, and might have been on their minds before they took some creative January decisions, including a recall for Leon Bailey.

However, Broggio has played just once for the first team so far, but his overall performances have been impressive. The Villans are eager to find a suitable role for the young winger in the future, but at the moment, they are eager for him to find a consistent rhythm in his game at the senior level.

Aston Villa were seemingly not ready to offload him anytime soon, unless they received the right offer from a club suitable for the 19-year-old attacking prospect to progress in. Falkirk seems like the ideal choice for what the Villans want for Broggio, with the winger now set for a move to Scotland.
