RC Lens have announced the signing of Allan Saint-Maximin (32), with the French winger joining the Artois club on a deal until the end of the season. Currently locked in a tight title race with Paris Saint-Germain at the top of Ligue 1, RC Lens have moved swiftly at the end of the winter transfer window to strengthen their attacking options.
Saint-Maximin was available as a free agent following his departure from Club América, where he scored three goals in 16 appearances during his short spell in Mexico. The 27-year-old becomes a significant offensive reinforcement for head coach Pierre Sage as the club looks to sustain its title challenge.
