Gary O’Neil’s time in charge of RC Strasbourg Alsace has faced its first major setback, with his young squad suffering back-to-back defeats in the league after losing to Paris Saint-Germain and Le Havre AC.
The defeat to Le Havre saw Ismaël Doukouré sent off in the first half after he denied Issa Soumaré a goal-scoring opportunity. O’Neil’s largely gone with a settled squad, and with Doukouré suspended, one of the major changes will be Andrew Omobamidele coming in.
The other will be Guela Doué, returning to the line-up after he missed the defeat to Le Havre. Junior Mwanga had started in his place. Mwanga, recently returned from a loan to FC Nantes, should drop to the bench for today’s game.
