OGC Nice predicted XI v Lyon: Claude Puel’s side returning to full strength

OGC Nice have been mired in an injury crisis for much of the season. However, they are now emerging from it. Bar the three long-term absentees at the back, Claude Puel’s side is almost at full strength.

Moise Bombito, Mohamed Abdelmonem, and Youssouf Ndayishimiye are all out for Nice. The latter two are returning from ACL injuries, whilst the former broke his leg earlier in the season. He too is nearing a return and Abdelmonem and Ndayishimiye are back in first-team training.

Melvin Bard is the only other major absentee. He is recovering from a more minor injury. His return is expected soon. It leaves Puel with decisions to make, especially in defence, where there is plenty of cover. Maxime Dupé, meanwhile, is expected to continue in goal over Yehvann Diouf.
