According to a report by Football Insider, Troy Parrott is the subject of interest from AC Milan. The AZ Alkmaar striker is also a target for several Premier League clubs, including Leeds United, Tottenham Hotspur, and West Ham United. However, they will face stiff competition from European giants for the 24-year-old striker’s signature.
Troy Parrott has recently become a national hero after singlehandedly taking the Republic of Ireland closer to a spot at the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The 24-year-old scored all five goals as the Green Army reached the playoffs with narrow wins over Portugal and Hungary. Meanwhile, the Irishman has been exceptional since joining AZ Alkmaar from Tottenham Hotspur in July 2024.
Parrott has been exceptional in the 2025/26 season thus far, scoring 26 goals and providing seven assists in 38 appearances across all competitions. Meanwhile, the Irish striker’s exploits have not gone unnoticed, capturing the attention of several well-known clubs. AC Milan, Leeds United, Tottenham Hotspur, and West Ham United are among the prospective suitors vying for his signature this summer.
AC Milan will likely dip into the market for a striker this summer, as Santiago Gimenez has struggled to make his mark since arriving from Feyenoord 15 months ago. Several Premier League clubs are keen on signing the Mexican striker, and a move to the Premier League may be on the cards. So, Parrott has emerged as a viable target for AC Milan.
Meanwhile, Leeds United’s long-term interest in Troy Parrott is understandable. While the West Yorkshire club signed Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Lukas Nmecha in the summer transfer window, Daniel Farke needs more firepower in the final third. So, the Republic of Ireland international is an option worth considering for Leeds United.
As for West Ham, it is unclear why the Irishman is a target for the East London club after they signed Valentin Castellanos and Pablo in the winter transfer window.
