Paul Pogba (33) is nearing a return to action. La Pioche’s long-awaited return, following a two-year absence, came in late November. However, he only made three brief substitute appearances, his last one coming in a 1-0 loss to Stade Brestois on 5th December.
Due to a calf injury, Pogba has not featured since. The former Manchester United and Juventus midfielder has not been in first-team training, however, he was alongside his teammates during Friday’s training session, attended by Get French Football News.

He was on the ball during the sessions in La Turbie. In late February, Sébastien Pocognoli said that he hoped to have Pogba back in first-team training just before the international break, with the objective of integrating back into matchday squads the other side of the international break.
His presence on Friday suggests that he is on schedule. Naturally, having been absent for three months, he is not in contention to face Olympique Lyonnais this weekend.
