Inter Milan set their sights on Manu Koné

Inter Milan are reportedly very keen on signing Manu Koné (24), according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

Far from being new, this interest in the AS Roma midfielder comes after he was already courted by the current Serie A leaders as recently as last summer. Under contract with the Giallorossi until June 2029, the French international (12 caps) is estimated to have a market value of between €40 and €50 million.

But beware, as Inter could well face a few hurdles in their quest to sign the former Borussia Mönchengladbach player. Starting with a battle against the competition and the potential impact of a brilliant World Cup campaign, which could drive the Frenchman’s price even higher.

Capable of playing in both defensive and attacking roles, Koné has, in the space of two seasons, established himself as a key player in the Italian league. A stalwart of Gianpiero Gasperini’s side, the Colombes-born player has started 31 of the 34 matches (scoring two goals and providing two assists) he has played since the start of the season.
