Casemiro comments on possibility of reversing Manchester United decision

Manchester United midfielder Casemiro is set to leave the Premier League club when his contract expires at the end of the season.

There have been rumours of a potential reversal of the decision, but Casemiro has now dismissed such suggestions. Speaking to the media via Sky Sports, the veteran midfielder has confirmed that he will leave Manchester United as a free agent in the summer that and he is looking forward to the remaining matches of his Manchester United career.

Casemiro will look to finish his Man United career strongly

The 34-year-old has been a very useful player for Manchester United since joining them, making over 150 appearances. He will be hoping to finish his Manchester United career strongly and help them secure a respectable finish in the table, having stepped up his performance levels since announcing his impending departure.

Manchester United have shown great improvement in recent weeks, especially since the arrival of new manager, Michael Carrick. They are now pushing for a place in the top three. It remains to be seen whether they can secure UEFA Champions League football for the upcoming campaign. As for Casemiro, players have recently spoken about his impact at Old Trafford. However, the former Real Madrid midfielder is not revering his decision.

Casemiro said, “I am still enjoying it a lot (in Manchester). It is huge, the affection that the fans have shown towards me. But I do really believe the decision is made and done. I believe it will be some difficult moments, these (final) games at Manchester United.”

Manchester United must replace Casemiro properly

Manchester United are already lacking in depth in the middle of the park, and replacing the Brazilian will be tricky for them. The Red Devils need someone who can control the game from the deep, and they need to invest in a reliable defensive midfielder as well. They have been linked with several players in recent months, and it remains to be seen who they end up with.

On the other hand, Casemiro will look to move on and join a big club in the summer. The 34-year-old is still very much at a stage of his career where he can contribute at a high level. He has recently been linked with Inter Milan. Serie A champions Napoli are also keeping tabs on him.

The Brazilian has enjoyed an exceptional career, and he has won several major trophies. He was one of the best defensive midfielders in the world during his time at Real Madrid. There is no doubt that he is one of the finest players of his generation in his role.
