Leeds United make decision on the future of Daniel Farke

Leeds United manager Daniel Farke has been linked with a move away from the club in recent months.

However, a report from Football Insider claims that the club hierarchy is satisfied with the job he has done, and they have no plans to get rid of him anytime soon.

Leeds are not yet safe in the Premier League, but they have a good chance of competing in the top flight next season as well. Farke has done a reasonably good job, and it would be wise of Leeds United to stick with him. They need stability if they want to build a team capable of regularly competing in the top flight. Sticking with Farke would be the right decision.

He helped them secure promotion to the Premier League, and it is highly likely that he will keep them in the top flight this season. He has certainly earned the right to continue at the club. Leeds have been linked to managers such as Brendan Rodgers in recent months.

Leeds have faith in Farke

Pete O’Rourke explained: “Nah, no chance, it’s crazy that some Leeds fans are calling for Daniel Farke to be sacked.

“He’s done a really good job there. Earlier in the season, around November, it looked like he could be sacked because Leeds were struggling at the wrong end of the table.

“Then he changed the formation in the defeat to Man City and that’s seen things turn around with improved performances and improved results.

“They’re four points above the relegation zone, and if you had offered that to Leeds at the start of the season, they would have taken that.

“The concern has been the lack of goals in recent games. They’ve failed to score in their last four games, but they’re not conceding too many goals either, so it’s no massive concern.

“I’d still be confident that Leeds have more than enough to stay up and as I said a lot of that will be down to Farke so he is being given a lot of credit at Leeds.”

Leeds need stability

Leeds will be focused on securing survival in the Premier League this season, and they will look to build on it next year. If they can bring in a few quality additions during the summer transfer window, there is no reason why they cannot push for a mid-table finish next season.

They cannot afford to be reckless and impatient if they want to build a strong project for the future. They will need to persist with the manager and allow him to build a formidable team for the future. The club hierarchy clearly trusts Farke, and they could reap the rewards of their patience in future.
