La Liga outfit Getafe have on Monday announced a permanent addition to the club’s attacking ranks.
The player to have put pen to paper on terms with the Azulones? Martín Satriano.
Versatile attacker Satriano for his part linked up with Getafe during the January transfer window, on a six-month loan from French side Lyon.
And the Uruguayan has since gone on to prove himself an instant hit, with his performances having drawn widespread praise.
All told, across 10 appearances to date, Satriano has found the net three times, including a sensational winner in a 1-0 win over Real Madrid.
And as alluded to above, such exploits have already proven enough to convince the brass at the Estadio Coliseum of his readiness to contribute long-term in Madrid.
As per a statement across Getafe’s social media platforms on Monday:
‘Getafe CF and Olympique de Lyon reach an agreement for the transfer of Martín Satriano. The Uruguayan forward signs for the remainder of the season and four more.’
