PSG winger Bradley Barcola (23) has made a timely return to team training as his rehabilitation from a serious ankle sprain looks over. Barcola sustained an injury during Les Parisiens‘ 3-0 demolition of Chelsea in the Champions League RO16 last month. The Lyon Academy graduate had to sit out France’s US tour in the international break, although his spot in Didier Deschamps’ World Cup squad looks safe.
It has been initially reported that Barcola could be out of action for a month, but it seems that the winger is way ahead of schedule is what is certainly a welcome injury boost for Luis Enrique. Barcola has been spotted this Tuesday morning taking part in the team’s collective training at Poissy’s Campus PSG.
It remains to be seen whether Barcola will be part of Luis Enrique’s matchday squad for tomorrow night’s clash against Liverpool. But it would be a surprise not to see the France international winger in action at least for next week’s return leg in Anfield.
