QPR open talks to sign NAC Breda captain Boy Kemper on free transfer

NAC Breda defender Boy Kemper is set to leave the Rat Verlegh Stadium this summer when his contract comes to an end. According to Voetbal International’s Joost Blaauwhof, Championship side Queens Park Rangers have shown ‘serious interest’ in the 26-year-old.

Kemper has spent the last three seasons at NAC, featuring 86 times across all competitions and quickly becoming a fan favourite following their promotion back to the Eredivisie. The left-back has decided to depart this summer, with NAC battling relegation in the top-flight sitting 17th.

Several clubs have held talks with Boy Kemper’s entourage, including QPR, who are discussing a free transfer for the former Dutch youth international. Kemper will have plenty of options to choose from come the end of the campaign, meaning a move to Loftus Road isn’t guaranteed. Kemper also has the option to remain in the Netherlands, with Dutch clubs queuing up for his signature

QPR are currently 11th in the Championship with four games remaining, and will be in need of a new left-sided full back when Wales international Rhys Norrington-Davies returns to parent club Sheffield United after a successful loan spell.
