After winning the UEFA Champions League last season, Paris Saint-Germain didn’t see the need to recruit heavily. Illia Zabarnyi, Lucas Chevalier and Renato Marin were the only arrivals at the club.
The club’s transfer dealings are expected to be more extensive this summer, whilst departures are also expected, as per a report from L’Équipe. The publication understands that there are two major candidates to leave the reigning European champions.
Goncalo Ramos (24) continues to play a bit-part role under Luis Enrique. The Portugal international is seeking a larger role, something that PSG, it would seem, won’t be able to offer him. His contract runs until 2028, but he may leave this summer, as may Lee Kang-in (25), whose contract also runs until 2028.
There was interest in the South Korea international last summer from Atletico Madrid. That interest may be revived. Like Ramos, Lee wants to play a bigger role. This time, PSG won’t stand in his way. His replacement may come in the form of AS Monaco’s Maghnes Akliouche (24), who is keen on a move to the Parc des Princes.
