Porto make move for PSG’s Mathis Jangeal

With his future undecided, Mathis Jangeal (17) continues to attract interest as the summer transfer window approaches. FC Porto are the latest club to enter the race, as per a report from L’Équipe.

Jangeal has played a handful of minutes for the PSG first team, coming on as a substitute both in Ligue 1 and the Coupe de France. However, he continues to feature largely for the academy side, with whom he has scored three goals in seven games in the UEFA Youth League.

However, like many Titis, he may leave before establishing himself in the first-team set-up; Le Parisien reported back in April. That report came at a time when interest in Germany was mounting, with Hamburg notably in for the attacking midfielder.

The German side’s interest has been confirmed by L’Équipe, who also evoke interest from VfB Stuttgart. Porto have now also joined the race and presented their project to the player, whilst SC Braga have also expressed an interest.
