Paris Saint-Germain have officially announced the signing of Mika Godts (21) from Ajax. The left winger has signed a five-year contract, running until 2031, with the reigning double European champions.
Having come through the youth academies of RCS Anderlecht and KRC Genk, the Belgian joined the Amsterdam-based club in the winter of 2023 in a €1m deal. Thrown straight into the deep end a few weeks later, Godts has made a total of 115 appearances for Ajax, scoring 26 goals and providing 28 assists.
Having made 44 appearances across all competitions last season, the Leuven-born player found the net 32 times, becoming the third player in Ajax’s history to reach 15 goals and 15 assists (he provided 17) in a single season since 2010-11.
A Belgian international since the under-15s, Godts made his senior debut last March, though he failed to convince Rudi Garcia to call him up for the World Cup in the United States.
