Bruno Genesio used his press conference to reveal that he would give chances to some of Olympique de Marseille’s fringe players in their UEFA Europa League opener against Besiktas on Thursday night.
Geoffrey Kondogbia and Tochukwu Nnadi remain sidelined with injury for Marseille and it looks highly unlikely that either will feature before the international break. It leaves Genesio confronted with a lack of options, however, despite that, he is expected to introduce a degree of rotation for the first time this season. L’Équipe understands that Ulisses Garcia will come in at left-back in place of Emerson, whilst Nayef Aguerd may make way for Derek Cornelius in Turkiye tonight.
Angel Gomes could also drop out of the starting line-up, which could see Amine Harit play more centrally and Keyliane Abdallah being installed on the right of the OM attack.
