Rudy Matondo (18) has extended his contract with Paris FC until 2030, the club have officially announced.
Still a minor at the time of his transfer from AJ Auxerre for €17m, including bonuses, last winter, the young midfielder was only able to sign a contract running until 2028 – a term of less than three years, as stipulated in the regulations.
Regarded as one of the key players in Paris FC’s project, Matondo, having just come of age, therefore signed his contract extension on Thursday, as previously agreed.
Having established himself as a potential first-team regular in the side managed by Antoine Kombouaré during the second half of the 2025-26 season (12 matches, eight starts), the Évry-Courcouronnes native has so far, under Liam Rosenior, played the role of a luxury substitute, having featured in each of the first six Ligue 1 matchdays but starting only one.
A player for the French Under-19 international team, he has made five appearances for Les Bleuets.
