Rennes predicted XI v OGC Nice: Brice Samba and Esteban Lepaul out

Stade Rennais are without Brice Samba and Esteban Lepaul for their visit to face OGC Nice at the Allianz Riviera on Friday night.

The latter is yet to recover from an ankle injury that he sustained against Paris FC earlier this month. Whilst he is nearing his return, it will not come away to Le Gym. He was touch and go to make this game, having missed the draw against Juventus and the win against RC Strasbourg Alsace.

Rennes are also without first-choice goalkeeper Samba. In his absence, it is Nicolas Lemaitre who will start for the Breton club. Having seen an uptick in form and performances, Franck Haise is expected to persist with a back three as he heads down south to face his former club.

Rennes likely line-up v OGC Nice

Nicolas Lemaitre; Mahamadou Nagida, Anthony Rouault, Charlie Cresswell, Abdelhamid Ait-Boudlal, Bryan Reynolds; Adrien Thomasson, Valentin Rongier, Sébastien Szymanski; Moussa Al-Taamari, Boulaye Dia. (L’Éq)
