Stade Brestois continue to wait for the return of their captain, Brendan Chardonnet. The defender’s absence has been longer than expected and he will play no part when Brest travel to face FC Lorient on Monday night.
Fellow defender, Raphael Le Guen, is also absent for Les Ty-Zéfs. Julien Lachuer has no fresh injury concerns to contend with tonight. It is a very settled Ty-Zéf side and Lachuer is not expected to tinker wih it. Ludovic Ajorque will continue in the No.9 role, Pathé Mboup will continue off the left, Kamory Doumbia through the middle and Mama Baldé off the right.
In Chardonnet’s absence, it is Hugo Magnetti, who signed a contract extension earlier this season, who will wear the captain’s armband.
