Pedro offered to West Ham United

Flamengo striker Pedro has been offered to West Ham United ahead of January, with the East London outfit keen to bolster their attack.

According to Graeme Bailey via Hammers News, Flamengo star Pedro has been reportedly offered to West Ham United ahead of the winter transfer window. The Hammers are thought to be angling for a move for a new striker in the winter window, and they could have the opportunity to land the prolific Brazilian international.

Nuno Espirito Santo has earmarked a new striker ahead of the winter transfer window as the lack of goals in his side is becoming a big problem. Signing Callum Wilson for free in the summer has not worked out, with the experienced striker only notching a single goal so far, while regular starter Niclas Fullkrug is yet to find the net this season.

They are likely to bring a new option up front, and there is a list being drawn up in the background to assess the market. There have been talks with Real Madrid for Endrick, but there are multiple complications, even though, on paper, they could offer the Brazilian a route out of Real Madrid, even if temporarily, to help him gain minutes ahead of the World Cup.

However, Endrick has been leaning towards AC Milan, although according recent updates on his situation, as per Fabrizio Romano, Lyon are in talks to sign him. Hence, the young attacker might not be an option anymore, although there is another player from Brazil who could become a viable target.

Flamengo striker Pedro has been offered to West Ham as a potential option for their forward line ahead of the January window. The Brazilian international has been linked with a European switch for a few years now, and the upcoming winter window might be a probable time for him to make the switch.

Is Pedro the right option for West Ham?

Pedro has been prolific for Flamengo over the last few seasons, and after 30 goals last season, he is well on course to match that, as he has already been involved in 22 goals and assists this term. Now, the report states, the 28-year-old is being offered to West Ham, although there is no indication that the Londoners are indeed thinking about him.

As the window inches closer, the 28-year-old striker could be a potential option for their consideration. Pedro does add something different, especially in front of the goal, something the Hammers lack at the moment; however, any move will also depend on the prices being quoted from Flamengo’s end, which might not be cheap.
