Lyon face strong competition for Endrick’s signature

Whilst Endrick (19) is favouring a move to Olympique Lyonnais, the Ligue 1 side are not the only club in the race to sign the Real Madrid forward, according to a report from Foot Mercato. 

Endrick is struggling for any game time at Real Madrid this season, and a loan in January is envisaged. The Brazilian wants to play himself into the Brazil team ahead of the World Cup, and given the lack of competition in the No.9 position at Lyon, he views a move to the Groupama Stadium as a perfect opportunity. 

But the striker is not short of options. As per Foot Mercato, Endrick is the subject of interest from clubs in his native Brazil, as well as from Mexico, the USA, Russia, and the Middle East. The publication adds that there are around 10 other options for the Real Madrid forward in Europe. 

Fabrizio Romano adds that talks between OL and Endrick are advancing and that a final decision on a move to Les Gones will be taken next week.
