Martin Satriano (24) has already left Lyon after joining Les Gones on loan from parent Racing Club de Lens five months ago. Lyon have opted to trigger the Uruguayan’s €5m purchase option to loan him out immediately to La Liga side Getafe FC. Satriano joined Lyon as a stop-gap signing considering Les Gones were in dire need of a centre-forward after parting ways with Alexandre Lacazette and Georges Mikautadze.

Satriano featured 19 times for Lyon and only logged three goals, including two against Nantes side in disarray. Lyon’s loan signing of Real Madrid’s Endrick meant that Satriano’s playing time would be decreased even further. Lyon have announced that Satriano’s loan move to the Azulones includes a €6.5m purchase option. Lyon host Brest this Sunday.
