Real Madrid interested in Max Dowman, Ethan Nwaneri, Josh Acheampong, Jesse Derry

Real Madrid are interested in a quartet of top Premier League talents for the future, including two players each from Arsenal and Chelsea.

According to Team Talk, Real Madrid are ready to explore emerging talents in the Premier League. Florentino Perez has set his sights on Arsenal’s Ethan Nwaneri and Max Dowman, while Chelsea duo Josh Acheampong and Jessy Derry are also on the list.

Perez has adopted a tweak in his transfer method over the last few years. Following the success of bringing in the Brazilian duo Vinícius Júnior and Rodrygo Goes, the Real Madrid supremo has focused on signing young talents they can nurture.

More recent arrivals such as Jude Bellingham and Arda Güler show that Perez also wants near-ready talents in the mix for the future. Arsenal duo Ethan Nwaneri and Max Dowman are of interest, while Chelsea pair Josh Acheampong and Jessy Derry are also being targeted.

Perez might be open to the idea of investing heavily in multiple young talents, and could make moves for the Premier League quartet. However, there are big challenges in signing those names from England, as both Arsenal and Chelsea consider them high-value assets designated for the future.

Chelsea considers Acheampong key to their current plans too, despite his secondary role in the team at the moment. Derry is a winger currently with the U21S, with Acheampong already an established first-team player in Liam Rosenior’s side. Taking them away from Chelsea will prove challenging, with the Londoners likely to demand a significant fee for the duo.

Could Real Madrid sign the Arsenal pair?

Arsenal have placed great importance on developing Ethan Nwaneri and Max Dowman, while carefully managing their careers. Mikel Arteta sanctioned a loan for Nwaneri to Marseille, and Arsenal have no interest in considering bids for the teenage attacker.

The stance with Dowman is even stronger, with the player having already pre-agreed professional terms with the club. Arteta sees the young attacker as key to Arsenal’s future and will not want any talk of a sale. Real Madrid may face disappointment in their pursuit of the Gunners duo, which then begs the question of whether Chelsea can be persuaded.
