Everton stance on Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall future revealed

Everton are not interested in considering offers for key man Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall amid interest from Aston Villa and Manchester United.

According to TEAMtalk, Everton have no interest in parting ways with Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall amid speculation surrounding his future. Teams like Aston Villa and Manchester United could be dealt a blow if the Toffees stick by their stance on the key midfielder, as they are under no pressure to sell.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has certainly reinvented himself as a top-notch Premier League performer following an underwhelming spell at Chelsea. While the stint at Stamford Bridge only lasted a single season following his transfer from Leicester City, Everton took their gamble by signing him in a £28 million deal.

Six goals and five assists in the Premier League for Everton this season have seen him become a key part of David Moyes’ plans. Despite some teams showing a level of interest during January, the Toffees were uninterested in selling him then.

There have been suggestions of a £45-50 million asking price ahead of the summer, but the Toffees are likely to stick to their stance that Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall is not for sale. Teams like Aston Villa and Manchester United have seen links to the £28 million Everton mainstay, but they could be dealt a severe blow in their pursuit.

Aston Villa are bracing themselves for a tricky summer window, as there is the potential to see the £100 million-rated Morgan Rogers depart amid growing interest. Hence, Villa might view Dewsbury-Hall as a replacement for the England international, but Everton’s stance may make their chase futile.

Everton to keep Dewsbury-Hall?

Manchester United’s interest is also quite intriguing, as yet another move to one of the top six clubs could entice any player. However, Everton’s stance makes it difficult to challenge for the player’s signature, as Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall might end up staying at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, especially with his club in a position of power due to his ongoing contract until 2030.

Everton are making big plans for the summer, with the Friedkin Group eager to invest in the squad and continue their push for a European place next season. They might still finish in one of the continental tournament spots this season if things go to plan, which will enable them an additional budget to add to the squad, as players like Dewsbury-Hall are seen as the long-term solution to this team.
