Despite performances being less than ideal, results in Ligue 1 (with the exception of the defeat to Stade Brestois) have been good for Olympique de Marseille’s new head coach, Habib Beye. Marseille host Lille OSC on a three-game winning streak in the league.
Apart from Nayef Aguerd, who remains out through injury, Beye has been blessed with being able to select from a full squad. However, there are signs that the former Stade Rennais head coach has begun to find his favoured shape.
It’s expected that Beye will keep a similar line-up to the one that defeated AJ Auxerre 1-0 last weekend. The only change that will likely be made will be Leonardo Balerdi’s return to the starting line-up, with CJ Egan-Riley dropping to the bench.
