Olympique Lyonnais have had little time to lick their wounds after they were eliminated from the UEFA Europa League on Thursday by Celta de Vigo. Paulo Fonseca’s side are back in action today against in-form AS Monaco.
Fonseca will be without Tyler Morton in midfield, with the English youth international suspended. In his place, it’s expected that Lyon will field Orel Mangala. The Belgian international has been used sparingly so far this season after recovering from an ACL tear.
After recovering from an injury that kept him out for recent weeks, Pavel Sulc was reduced to a bench role against Celta. He will likely be back in the starting line-up this afternoon, with Lyon’s grip on fourth loosening amid a barren run of form.
