According to a report by TEAMtalk, Eduardo Camavinga and Alexis Mac Allister may swap places soon. Liverpool and Real Madrid are discussing two “potential blockbuster deals” involving the two midfielders, with intermediaries working on executing the audacious arrangement in the coming months.
Alexis Mac Allister has been arguably the most reliable performer for Liverpool since arriving from Brighton & Hove Albion in a bargain deal in July 2023. The 27-year-old hit the ground running at Anfield in his debut season, and he has made significant progress in the last three seasons.
The Argentine international has been a mainstay in the middle of the park thus far for Liverpool, and he has scored five goals and provided five assists in 47 appearances across all competitions this term. On the other hand, Eduardo Camavinga has endured a topsy-turvy ride since joining Real Madrid from Stade Rennais in August 2021.
The 23-year-old has been a utility man for Los Blancos, as he can reprise any role in the middle of the park and play as a left-back.
