Udinese’s Abdoulaye Camara (17) is reportedly on the verge of signing for Ajax, according to information from L’Équipe.
An agreement has reportedly been reached between the two clubs for a loan deal with a virtually mandatory buy-out clause – which will be automatic under certain conditions – worth €15m. Having been given the go-ahead to travel to the Netherlands for his medical, Camara will sign a contract there straight away which, should the buy-out clause be exercised, will run until 2031.
Having come through the youth ranks at Montpellier HSC, the Conakry-born player joined Udinese last summer in a €1.2m transfer. Although he made just one appearance in Serie A during the 2025-26 season, whilst training regularly with the first-team squad, Camara made significant progress with the Primavera side, for whom he was captain.
A role he also holds with the France Under-19s, for whom he has made three appearances, having first joined the national team at Under-16 level.
