La Liga giants Real Madrid have on Thursday closed an agreement to add to the club’s attacking ranks at academy level. This comes amid the understanding that Los Blancos have closed a deal for the signing of Rayan Zinebi.
Zinebi, for his part, is a 19-year-old attacker, who chiefly lines out in a centre-forward role. Born in Spain, the starlet represents Morocco on the international stage.
At club level, Zinebi has spent the last 12 months plying his trade on the books of Granada, after a summer switch from AE Prat. His performances at youth level saw the frontman break onto the first-team picture over the season’s 2nd half.
And his performances across this stretch, it would appear, did not go at all unnoticed amongst those in a position of power at the aforementioned Real Madrid.
In fact, as per a report from Blancos journalist Ramón Álvarez de Mon:
‘Rayan Zinebi will join Real Madrid on loan with a purchase option for 2 million. He arrives to play for Castilla as a forward. The player is traveling from the Morocco U20 training camp to undergo the medical examination. Afterward, he will rejoin the training camp.’
🚨Rayan Zinebi se incorporará al Real Madrid cedido con opción de compra por 2 millones.
