A member of the midfield ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid has this week been rewarded for his consistent excellence at club and international level alike.
This comes amid confirmation of Jude Bellingham being named the England national team’s Player of the Year for 2026.
Bellingham of course proved himself the standout performer for his country at this past summer’s World Cup. En route to an eventual semi-final elimination at the hands of Argentina, the 23-year-old was the Three Lions’ shining light, at times dragging his teammates through fixture through pure will and determination.
All told, Bellingham racked up a remarkable seven goals in eight appearances on world football’s grandest stage.
Since followed by a stellar opening to the new campaign on the books of Real Madrid, it should in turn come as little surprise to learn of the former Borussia Dortmund talent being rewarded for his exploits.
As confirmed in a statement across the English national team’s social media platforms, Bellingham has secured the award for Player of the Year for the 2nd season in succession.
