Jamal Musiala is back on the Bayern Munich training pitch, but an official return to action for the Bundesliga star may take another month. FCB board-member-for-sport Max Eberl – speaking prior to kickoff in yesterday evening’s Bundesliga Top-Spiel against Bayer Leverkusen – outlined the 22-year-old’s timetable for return.
“We think he’ll be back in December,” Eberl told Sky Germany. “Maybe he’ll get a few minutes of playing time [before the end of the calendar year] so that he can be 100 percent fit by January.”
Bayern certainly have no need to rush Musiala’s return. The German record champions continue their historic European winning streak. Saturday’s defeat of Bayer Leverkusen – easily accomplished with many star players out of the line up no less – extends Bayern’s string of victories to 14 straight in the 2025/26 competitive cycle.
No European football club has performed as well across all competitions as Bayern have this year. Serge Gnabry, Michael Olise, Lennart Karl, Harry Kane, and even Raphaël Guerreiro have been able to fill in for Musiala in the No. 10 position successfully.
