Newcastle United monitoring Samuele Ricci, Ardon Jashari, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Fikayo Tomori

Newcastle United are monitoring at least four potential targets from AC Milan, as they could even explore a swap deal of sorts.

According to Milan-Live, Newcastle United are looking at four potential targets from AC Milan ahead of future windows. The Magpies are looking at Ardon Jashari, Samuele Ricci, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Fikayo Tomori, while they could also offer one of their players in a swap deal for one or two of those stars.

Newcastle United are already planning for future windows, and they already have four potential targets from AC Milan at the moment. Ardon Jashari, Samuele Ricci, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Fikayo Tomori are all on their radar, as they could ponder future moves for some of those names.

In terms of Jashari and Ricci, they arrived only in the summer, which would make any immediate transfer seem difficult. Moreover, Milan views them as key members for the present and future. The Rossoneri are aware of the big interest from clubs in Ricci, but could resist the temptation of a big sale for the time being.

Meanwhile, the prospect of signing Loftus-Cheek and Tomori could be realistic for Newcastle United if they were to attempt approaches. The Magpies were interested in Tomori back in the summer before opting to sign centre-back partner Malick Thiaw from Milan, but they could plan on reuniting the two centre-backs.

Newcastle United are also interested in Loftus-Cheek, and the midfielder is back on the radar of top English sides following his call-up to the national team. Both Tomori and Loftus-Cheek have contracts expiring in 2027, meaning Milan could potentially think about cashing in on the players rather than losing them on free transfers in the future.

Newcastle United could offer a swap deal

Newcastle United could reportedly even consider offering Sven Botman in a potential swap deal for some of those Milan stars, particularly Tomori and Loftus-Cheek. The Dutchman has been on the Rossoneri radar for a while, but is equally an important player for Eddie Howe.

There’s every possibility of a swap deal should both clubs show an interest in such an agreement. It will also depend on the intent of the players involved, although the two clubs could work out financially to make any potential deal viable.
