Rennes interested in €10m-rated Antoine Hainaut

Stade Rennais, after a two-year absence, will return to European football next season. With stability in the managerial and hierarchical positions, the club are already preparing for next season and, as per a report from Foot Mercato, are showing an interest in Antoine Hainaut (24), who currently plays his football for Venezia in Serie B. 

Last season, Hainaut played 37 games for Venezia in Serie B, scoring five goals and registering six assists. The Frenchman’s contribution helped his club finish top of the table and therefore secure a return to Serie A.

However, he may not join his teammates in making a return to the top flight. The versatile Frenchman, who can play on the right of the midfield or as a wing-back, was a target for SCO Angers and AJ Auxerre last summer but is now being considered as an option by Rennes. He is valued by his club at €10m.
