Juventus agree personal terms with Lyon full-back Nicolás Tagliafico

Juventus are reported to have reached a personal agreement with Olympique Lyonnais’ Nicolás Tagliafico (34), according to journalist Fabrizio Romano.

Under contract with OL until June 2027, the Argentine full-back will join the Turin club if Juan Cabal’s (25) move to Atalanta goes through before the transfer window closes. A condition that is still a long way from being met, given that the Colombian is reluctant to leave the Vecchia Signora.

Four years after arriving in the Rhône region from Ajax, Tagliafico is therefore set to bid farewell to Les Rouge et Bleu, for whom he has made 134 appearances in all competitions – scoring nine goals and providing 13 assists. A key member of the Lyon squad, the Rafael Calzada-born player made a further 30 appearances last season, providing three assists.

An Argentine international with 83 caps, he was a key player in the Albiceleste’s World Cup victory in 2022 and was once again selected by Lionel Scaloni for this summer’s World Cup.
