Official | Liverpool sign Bradley Barcola from PSG

Liverpool FC have signed France international winger Bradley Barcola (23) from PSG, both clubs have announced. Last week, the Reds reached a breakthrough in talks with the back-to-back Champions League winners to strike a club-record agreement over a €145m total transfer package.

Barcola was tied with PSG until 2028, but he informed Les Parisiens in the summer that he had no intention to sign another contract. This development paved the way for an early exit when his market value was at its highest, most notably after eye-catching performances for France at the 2026 World Cup.

Liverpool, who already made their interest known last summer, pounced and quickly secured an agreement on personal terms with the France international striker. Barcola leaves Paris Saint-Germain as a back-to-back UEFA Champions League winner and a three-times Ligue 1 champion. The former Olympique Lyonnais Academy graduate has logged 39 goals and 37 assists in 152 games played under Luis Enrique’s tutelage.

Barcola didn’t play a single minute of competitive football this season given that PSG had sanctioned his sale. The Ligue 1 champions anticipated Barcola’s exit by retaining Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and signing Mika Godts from AFC Ajax. Les Parisiens allowed their No. 29 to undergo a medical on Merseyside over the weekend. Barcola has put pen to paper over a five-year deal with Liverpool. He could make his Premier League debut on Friday against Ipswich Town.
