Yan Diomande was a player languishing with Leganes following his January move from the USA. While he was an unknown quantity to most big clubs looking into the market for a young attacking profile, RB Leipzig were able to use their expertise to identify a future star in the winger.
Leipzig paid his £17.6 million release clause and got him through he door at the club in the summer, with the move already paying off in a big way. Diomande has three goals and as many assists in ten games across all competitions for the German side, which has already seen scouts making regular trips to keep a close watch on his progression.
