Pervis Estupinan ready to join Tottenham this summer

Roberto De Zerbi’s Tottenham Hotspur have received a massive boost in their pursuit of AC Milan full-back Pervis Estupinan.

While Roberto De Zerbi’s priority is to ensure Tottenham survive in the Premier League, he has already started planning for the summer. The Italian manager wants to strengthen their defence with a new left-back, and he seeks a reunion with Pervis Estupinan.

According to a report from Milanlive, De Zerbi is a massive admirer of the 28-year-old Ecuadorian international and wants him at the North London club this summer. The player is ready to reunite with the 46-year-old, who managed him during his time at Brighton.

Estupinan was a part of the Seagulls’ first-team setup from 2022 to 2025. During the three seasons with the English club, the left-back was involved in a total of 104 matches, and he even contributed towards 19 goals.

On the back of his impressive performances, he secured a move to AC Milan last summer. While the 28-year-old was hoping to take the next step in his career, the move hasn’t really worked out in his favour. He eventually lost his place in the starting XI with Massimiliano Allegri giving preference to Davide Bartesaghi.

Estupinan to reunite with De Zerbi

With the 20-year-old taking up the prominent role, Estupinan has gone down the pecking order, and he is already considering parting ways with Milan. While he did start against Inter Milan and put up a sensational performance, it won’t change his future.

His camp is already on the lookout for a new club, and Tottenham have emerged as a potential destination. Spurs, who are currently fighting for survival and have just appointed Roberto De Zerbi as their new boss, are looking for more quality on the left flank.

De Zerbi has managed Estupinan in the past and seems to rate him very highly. The Italian manager has asked for his signing, and the player is also willing to make the move to North London to reunite with the 46-year-old. Given the relationship between the two parties and the player’s desire to play in the Premier League, there are high chances of the move going through.
