RC Strasbourg Alsace will look to bounce back from their opening-day 4-0 defeat away to Olympique de Marseille this afternoon. They host last season’s runners-up RC Lens at the Stade de la Meinau.
Head coach Hugo Oliveira is expected to announce a much-changed line-up. In defence, Jeyland Mitchell, who arrived this summer from Sturm Graz, is expected to be handed his debut, with him likely replacing Lucas Høgsberg.
Oliveira will be without Samir El Mourabet, who is suspended after picking up a red card for a swipe at Pierre-Emile Højbjerg, with Pape Demba Diop likely to take his place. Sékou Mara and Gessime Yassine are also expected to be dropped, with Jacobo Ortega and Giovanni Reyna likely to take their place.
