Official I RC Lens loan Jeremy Agbonifo to BK Häcken

RC Lens have confirmed the loan of Jeremy Agbonifo (20) to BK Häcken for the remainder of the season. An option to buy has been included in the deal.

Loaned out for the second half of the 2024-25 season, then officially transferred from the Swedish club for around €7 million last summer, Agbonifo made only eight appearances and scored one goal for the Sang et Or. After spending the first half of the season on loan at FC Basel, the young winger played 16 matches and found the back of the net twice, including once in the Europa League.

A Swedish international at under-21 level, with whom he has made seven appearances (scoring two goals), Agbonifo was eventually recalled by Lens, only to be transferred to his former club Häcken. Finishing tenth in last season’s Allsvenskan, the Scandinavian club have already signed six new players this winter, with the 2026 Swedish first division season kicking off on 5th April.
