Aston Villa rival Manchester United, West Ham United in Endrick chase

Aston Villa are set to enter the race to sign Endrick, with Manchester United and West Ham United vying for the Real Madrid attacker.

According to the Daily Star, Endrick could witness a scrap for his signature, as plenty of Premier League sides are vying to get him from Real Madrid. Aston Villa are set to enter the race for the Brazilian outcast, with Manchester United and West Ham United also showing serious interest.

Endrick is desperate to play regular minutes between January and the end of the season, as he faces an uphill task to make it to the Brazil squad for the World Cup. The young attacker has been frozen out by Xabi Alonso from the squad this season, with the attacker yet to play a single minute under the Spaniard.

Unless there is a dramatic turn of events at the Bernabeu, Endrick is widely expected to leave Real Madrid, most likely on loan. The Spanish giants want suitors to cover his full salary if the 19-year-old were to join someone on loan, something that won’t be an issue for Premier League sides.

West Ham United had been the early runners in the race, although they face a fight to sign him, especially after Lyon entered the race. The Ligue 1 giants are seen as front-runners at this stage, but the interest from Premier League sides, including the Hammers, could make the 19-year-old disgruntled Real Madrid prodigy think hard about his next move.

Aston Villa are the latest to enter the race, with Unai Emery seemingly looking at another option to add to his attack. They could open the possibility of a loan move, but must convince Endrick that Villa Park could be the place for him to revive his World Cup hopes with guarantees of regular minutes.

Manchester United also in the race

Manchester United were also interested in Endrick, but there are plenty of complications ahead of the possibility of bringing the 19-year-old disgruntled Real Madrid prodigy. For starters, they might be mindful of their increasing wage bill, and secondly, they must make space in the squad for the player.

While they are not in a rush to offload Joshua Zirkzee, the possibility of another striker arriving might be dependent on the Dutchman’s departure. Moreover, the Red Devils are not in Europe, which could be a problem ahead of January, as Endrick might prefer a team in continental competition, which might end up favouring Aston Villa but not West Ham.
