Vinicius Junior facing uncertain future at Real Madrid

Premier League sides are on alert as Vinicius Junior faces uncertainty over his long-term future at Real Madrid ahead of next summer.

According to Football Insider, Vinicius Junior could be on the ropes about his Real Madrid future, as a summer exit could become a reality. Various reports are stating the Brazilian might quit, as Premier League clubs like Liverpool, Manchester United and Manchester City are on alert to his situation.

There’s not a single team in world football that would not want Vinicus Junior on their side, but unfortunately, there are only a handful of those who could realistically afford the Brazilian. Considering the wages and a potential massive transfer fee, a few English, Saudi Arabian teams and PSG could afford to make a move for the 25-year-old Real Madrid star.

As things stand, Vinicius’ relationship with Real Madrid is on the edge, especially after the recent El Clasico with Barcelona. There are now considerable doubts about his long-term future at the club, in addition to the rumours circulating that he’s not willing to renew his contract at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Florentino Perez would not want to lose him on a free in the summer of 2027 when his existing deal expires, and instead sell him for a big fee. A host of Premier League sides are keen, which includes Liverpool, Manchester City and Manchester United, with those teams likely to have the financial ammunition to afford him.

Liverpool have shown the financial capability to compete with the biggest sides and may not hesitate to make a move for Vinicius if they get an opportunity. However, there might be far bigger clubs in the mix, particularly those from Manchester as well as from Saudi Arabia, with the latter likely to even pay over the odds to get the Brazilian on board.

Vinicius Junior to the Premier League?

Vinicius could be open to joining the Premier League, and will certainly have no shortage of suitors here. Manchester City have been planning to explore a move, while Manchester United are prepared to make a big bid for the Brazilian, as a top offer could realistically test Real Madrid over their resolve on the star winger.

Real Madrid are allegedly interested in Erling Haaland to replace Vinicius, and with Manchester City keen on the latter, there could be a possibility of a compromise between the two clubs. However, with Vinicus now with the possibility of departing the Bernabaue, his next destination could draw plenty of interest in the near future.
